For the second year running Piranha Audio Visual supported the Staffordshire Master Chef and Young Chef 2011 competition.
After months of planning with Staffordshire County Council and Taste of Staffordshire everything came together on show day. We were dispatched to Stafford College to film the cook offs, where twelve chef’s were set the challenge of producing a 3 course meal in a two hour time frame.
While we were busy filming the upcoming chefs at the days cook-off, we were also ensuring the stage was set for a grand finale at the Moathouse, Acton Trussell in Stafford for the evening awards ceremony.
When filming was complete the team re-grouped to carry out a lightning-fast video production and edit of the mornings activity so that awards dinner guests could get a glimpse of the cook offs. The awards were presented by BBC Look East presenter Janine Machin who was on hand to announce the winners and oversee the evenings activities. Taste of Staffordshire organiser Pauline Evans “My thanks and appreciation for your participation and support during our awards evening…. without your continued generous support and prevailing kindness schemes such as this would struggle to get off the ground”. “
Matt Boulton, Piranha technician “It was an interesting job to be involved in and the pressure of producing the edit in a small timescale made it all the more exciting, the only down side was not being able to eat any of the food produced by the chefs!”.
