Potteries Museum becomes state of the art
The team completed an audio visual upgrade of the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery Forum Theatre. The main feature of the work was the installation of high definition projector. The 300 seat theatre is regularly used for museum talks, concerts, film screenings and conferences.
The installation is expected to assist with presentations when the full display of the Staffordshire Hoard returns to the museum later this year and the museum also has plans to screen the latest Bollwood features for the local community.
Over the three days of the installation Piranha removed the old projection equipment, ran in new cables and made some upgrades to the sound system and stage lectern.
Senior Piranha Technician, Andy Noble, who initially advised the museum through the planning stages said “its great to see the installation completed, we’ve managed to use the latest technology to provide the museum with a state of the art projection facility”.
