Wolgarston High School
Leading Audio Visual provider, Piranha AV, has completed the first stage of a refurbishment at a specialist technology college, to help modernise the facilities available to students and the way that they learn.Piranha AV, based at Keele university campus, was appointed by Wolgarston high school to completely refurbish its lecture theatre and install several state-of-the-art technologies, designed to improve educational facilities for both pupils and staff.
The installations include a new PA system, projection system, video system and a control system, allowing the control of the new technology both from an office and on the move.
Speaking of the installation, Andy Noble, senior technician at Piranha AV, said : "We were asked to install and provide training sessions on equipment that would drastically improve the schools audio visual services, whilst also allowing for more space for teachers and pupils during class times. The equipment we have installed such as the portable lapel microphones and the induction loops for those who are hard of hearing, mean that the school is well equipped to offer the best possible services to not just its pupils and staff, but also its visitors."
Wolgarston high school's business manager, Julie Ablewhite, said : "We are delighted with the work carried out on our lecture theatre. The Piranha team were knowledgeable, efficient, fast and friendly. We would'nt hesitate to consider Piranha again when planning future AV projects."
